Spend the night with Necco!
Travelers with a longing for some feline companionship with their cozy New England accommodations can take advantage of The Red Lion Inn's new "Cat Suite" this winter. The suite's main attraction is "Necco," a slightly finicky but affectionate black and white cat who has taken up part-time residency at the inn. Necco, who is three-years old and housebroken, is on-hand to greet guests when they check into a suite in one of The Red Lion's guesthouses, adjacent to the main inn. On those occasions when the suite is empty or is occupied by a non cat-person, Necco spends the night with his friend, Nancy Fitzpatrick, The Red Lion's president. The Cat Suite is priced at $195 per night ($270 on weekends). To make a reservation, telephone 413 298-1690. |
