 The Red Lion Inn's on-site Massage Therapist, Mary Lucy, offers the following services in the Inn 's treatment room, conveniently located in the Main Building.
- Neuromuscular Therapy: applies concentrated finger press to
 "trigger points" (painful irritated areas in muscles) to break cycles of spasm and pain.
- Deep Tissue Massage: releases the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the grain of muscles, tendons, and fascia. Also focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue.
- Swedish Massage: a system of long strokes, kneading, and friction techniques on the more superficial layers of the muscles, combined with active and passive movement of the joints.
- European Hot Stone Massage: massage bodywork utilizing Swedish techniques along with smooth, heated river stones. Its main benefit is a deeper massage work than plain Swedish massage. But it is not for everyone, especially those with specific medical problems.
Massages include your choice of aromatherapy or unscented pure essential oils blended to enhance the healing purposes of massage by bringing the body into balance
